Maths Feast and UK Mathematical Challenge

Maths Feast Results

THE WINNING TEAMA big well done to the 8 10g pupils who represented The Malling School at the Maths Feast at MGGS. The Year 10 Maths Feast is an enjoyable and challenging team competition testing mathematical, team-working and communication skills. The competition was organised by the Further Mathematics Support Programme (FMSP). Miss Mlilo and Mrs Newlyn who accompanied the pupils are proud of the 8 that took part.

All 8 tried their best in every  round and showed outstanding team work skills and we wouldn’t have picked a better group to represent our school. Congratulations go out to the team of 4 that won in the problem solving round (Katie Geary, Charlotte O’Shea, Poppy Greenrod and Brady Moss) - The organisers said they won by a mile compared to the other schools.
