It's Red Nose Day!

Students and staff have been wearing something red today to help raise money for comic relief.  Everyone has contributed £1.50 to this excellent cause.

Other activities going on in school today to help raise even more money for the charity have included a hotly contended 'bake off' between teacher, Mrs Curtis and Year 10 student, Harry Meader.  Harry challenged Mrs Curtis to the competition as, apparently no one in the school believes that she can cook!

STOP PRESS ... Mrs Curtis won the bake off, sorry Harry!  They raised over £20!  Well done!

Meanwhile, the 'coin mountain'  on the top floor of the Tydeman building is still growing.  Organiser Mrs Martin, Student Support Manager, hopes that it may head towards the ceiling before the end of the day.

The biggest sporting challenge of the day is the basketball tournament where Year 11 boys play Mr Williams’s All Stars team.
