Licence to Kill?

On Tuesday 7th November Key Stage 5 pupils attended the 'Licence to Kill' presentation at Mote Park

The presentation is extremely hard hitting and designed to make young people stop and think about their own safety and the safety of all other road users.

In the last three years 187 people aged 17-24 were killed or seriously injured as car drivers or passengers on the roads in Kent and Medway. Road Safety partners work together to bring L2K to young people across the county with the aim of educating and influencing the decisions that are needed every time they get into a vehicle.

We were addressed by emergency service professionals who deal with the accidents on Kent's roads, a road traffic accident victim and two parents who lost their children in fatal road accidents, there was silence in the auditorium as they spoke and the message they delivered had a huge impact on all those attending.
